Position Title: Secretary to the Superintendent

The Owen D. Young Central School has an anticipated opening for secretary to the superintendent for the 2025-26 school year.

Minimum Qualifications: knowledge of office suite software, google sheets and docs; the ability to work on own; willingness to perform tasks as directed; ability to understand and follow simple oral and written directives; thoroughness; dependability; physical condition commensurate with duties of the position; background knowledge of the Owen D. Young School District preferred. Appointment is subject to fingerprint clearance. This is a 12-month position (year-round employment) with benefits.

Position Title: Night Cleaner

The Owen D. Young Central School has an immediate opening for a Night Cleaner. Duties involve cleaning and maintenance of school facilities.

Minimum Qualifications: knowledge of building cleaning practices, the ability to use supplies and equipment economically and efficiently; willingness to perform cleaning and other manual tasks; ability to understand and follow simple oral and written directives; thoroughness; dependability; physical condition commensurate with duties of the position. A valid NYS Drivers’ License preferred. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Appointment is subject to fingerprint clearance. This is a 12-month position (year-round employment) with benefits.
