How do I add funds to my EZSchoolPay account?
Online payments may be done anytime from a computer or mobile device. Payments are typically available for use within ten minutes, giving you peace of mind knowing that your child will have access to school meals. If you prefer to not pay online, you may also send in cash or a check with your child. Checks should be made out to OHM BOCES Lunch.
Can I also use EZSchoolPay to check my child’s account balance?
Yes. Balances are usually updated within ten minutes of any transactions and you can check your child’s meal balance at any time.
What forms of payment are accepted?
EZSchoolPay accepts online payments using credit cards and debit cards. If you prefer to not pay online, you may also send in cash or a check with your child. Checks should be made out to OHM BOCES Lunch.
What is a Convenience Fee?
EZSchoolPay is managed by OHM BOCES on behalf of the ODY school district. A flat convenience fee of $2.95 is charged each time you make an online transaction. The fee is designed to cover or offset the normal costs of processing credit card transactions and other costs associated with maintaining a credit card merchant account.
The fee is included in your total transaction (the amount that will show on your statement). It is not deducted from the amount of your payment. You can be sure that your entire credit amount will be added to your child’s meal account.
If you have more than one child, consider adding funds to multiple accounts in the same transaction to avoid paying more than one convenience fee.
If you prefer to avoid paying a convenience fee, you can send in a check or cash with your child. Checks should be made out to OHM BOCES Lunch.
How do I request a refund or transfer money between my children?
All refunds and/or transferring of money must be done through OHM BOCES. Contact Kate Dorr, Food Service Director, with any questions at (315) 738-0848 or kdorr@oneida-boces.org.
How do I know the EZSchoolPay site is secure?
EZSchoolPay has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control. The system is fully compliant with all security regulations and Payment Card Industry (PCI) requirements. All transactions use 256-bit encryption and your credit card information is protected by the most sophisticated internet security available.
